White Line (by William Farges)

"White Line is the result of my work ‘chimera’. In this series, each diptych consists of two photos stitched together digitally. This work has two dimensions. in the first I questioned the photographic medium and more particularly its unit through the limits of the photographic frame. The second is, for its part, a reflection on the body. Here it becomes a material I model and I split through the framework to create an object with a new unit. This is created by the viewer, who mentally reconstructs a new set. This body is each time put on a white base that sanctifies and increases the level of artwork."

"Recently I saw myself in “Manhattan” by Woody Allen. And I remembered how ugly I felt at that time. I thought my nose was too long and I too fat. Now I think: "She was so beautiful!" Earlier I looked at fashion magazines and thought, I want to be as thin as these models. And then I realized that this will never happen. At some point you realize that you have to be yourself.”

humans are so cute, when we say goodbye we put our arms around each other and to show we love someone we bring them flowers. we say hello by holding each other’s hand, and sometimes tiny little dewdrops form in our eyes. for pleasure we listen to arrangements of sounds, press our lips together, smoke dried leaves, get drunk off of old fruit. we’re all just little animals, falling in love and having breakfast beneath billions of stars
