Typefaces that you can combine and layer up to create different variations of the same font seem to be a big thing recently. I like the look of them! Bet you could mix and match quite nicely.

This one is Detroit designed by foundry Match & Kerosene, which is just one man; Alex Sheldon. He has also done some great other typefaces, including my favorite name ever Slab Sheriff.

Sanborn Fire Insurance Map Typography

Simply incredible hand illustrated typography from 1880 to 1920, as beautiful today as it was back then.

The boyfriend and I are heading out to buy some invisible grid notebooks so we can attempt some hand-illustrated type. Pretty excited! #make something every day

Amazing typographic graphic design by American designer Luke Williams. Really liking his work, big emphasis on typography and hand lettering, which I really admire. Something I don’t have the skills to do in my own work unfortunately!

Especially loving the ‘Design takes root’ image, great idea and really well done. Looks awesome!

Check out the rest of his work on his website; www.lukelukeluke.com/
